CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the “Visit India” initiative of the Government of India, approximately 200 tribal students from Naxal-affected areas visited the National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh (NID MP) as part of the 17th Tribal Youth Exchange Program 2026, along with the Mera Bharat team. The primary objective of the 17th Tribal Youth Exchange Program is to integrate tribal youth into the national mainstream and familiarize them with India’s diverse culture, history, and development. Students from states including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh participated in the program.

During the visit, Sonal Wanjare conducted a session on awareness of design education, introducing students to the concept of design, its importance, and future opportunities in this field. Following this, Krishna Birman, Registrar of NID MP, delivered an inspiring lecture on the theme “Earn Yourself – Discover Your Hidden Potential”, motivating students toward self-confidence, self-reliance, and personal development.
The program concluded with a campus tour and light refreshments, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of NID MP’s academic environment and insights into design education.
