CNN Central News and Network – ITDC India Press / ITDC News Bhopal: The registration of cooperative societies in the district will now be done only through an online process. With this online process, individuals do not need to visit the office for the registration of societies. The Deputy Commissioner of Cooperation stated that to register societies, 21 individuals can come together to form a cooperative society by visiting the departmental online portal at http://icmis.mp.gov.in.

To apply for a new organization on the portal, applicants can visit the specified link and apply through the MP Online Citizen Service Center. The applicant will need to create a login on the portal. To create a login, they must enter their mobile number linked to their Aadhaar for OTP verification. After filling in the information about the proposed organization and the initial application details, they will generate a password. Subsequently, the applicant’s login will be created.

By entering the value of the share capital, uploading the photos and signatures of the proposed members, the applicant will register the ad hoc committee, upload the required documents, and make the online payment for the shares and membership fee. A virtual ID will be generated using the Aadhaar number, and the applicant must e-sign and submit the application online.

Upon receiving the application, the department will take action within a maximum of 45 days. If there are any deficiencies, they will be recorded on the portal, and the applicant will be notified via SMS. Once the application is validated on the registration portal, the registration certificate will be generated from the portal itself, which will include a digital signature.
