CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress / Bhopal: National Skill Development Corporation’s Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is one of the flagship schemes of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, whose main objective is to make the youth of the country self-employed and financially strong. The primary objective of PMKVY is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training, which will help them in getting a better livelihood.Under this training program, the Centre for Research and Industrial Staff Performance is to train 690 trainees, out of which 310 trainees were successfully trained and evaluated. In this 3-month training, they were taught in detail about various topics related to video editing and still photography, graphic designing, solar PV installation. Training of another 380 students will be completed in due course.

PMKVY aims to provide skill training to more than 1 crore youth during the scheme period.

The training programmes are designed in consultation with industry stakeholders to ensure relevance and effectiveness. These programs include both technical skills and soft skills to make trainees job-ready.

The main objective of the scheme is to train people in various skills so that they can become employable and financially strong. The skill development scheme also aims to increase the productivity of the existing workforce and train and certify them as per the needs of the industry.

Training Head Sudhir Kumar Jain said that this was the first 4 batches under this scheme from our center. All the trainees participated in the evaluation test and their performance was very good. The entire team including CRISP Director Amol Vaidya, Chief Marketing Officer Rajesh Maheshwari, Marketing Officer Faisal Jafri, Departmental Head and Training Officer appreciates the organization for this achievement. This team consisted of trainers, administration and other colleagues, who together played an important role in preparing these batches
