CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As directed by the Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur, and under the guidance of Principal District and Sessions Judge/Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Bhopal, Manoj Kumar Srivastava, the District Legal Services Authority, Bhopal, inaugurated a 40-hour mediation training programme at Narhona Administrative Academy, Bhopal.
The training programme is being held until October 7, 2026. District legal aid officers will be trained in the process, techniques and practical aspects of mediation.

At the inaugural session, Sixth District and Additional Sessions Judge, Bhopal, Manoj Kumar Singh highlighted the importance of mediation and said it is an effective and time-bound process for resolving disputes. He said that through mediation, dialogue can be established between the parties and an amicable solution to their disputes can be found.
ACJM/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Bhopal, Suneet Agrawal spoke about the objectives of the training and its practical benefits. He said mediation is an effective medium for alternative and amicable resolution of disputes. He said the training would help officers better understand the problems of parties, establish effective communication and make effective use of various mediation techniques for dispute resolution.

Senior trainers Suman Sharma and Sandeep Saxena provided training on the practical process of mediation, effective communication, understanding the needs of parties and various techniques for resolving disputes. During the training, participants will be introduced to the finer points of mediation through practical exercises and case studies.

Dr Anupama Rawat, course director and professor of public policy at Narhona Administrative Academy, shared information on the academy’s necessary support and arrangements for the successful conduct of the training programme.
At the end of the programme, District Legal Aid Officer Muhammad Jilani proposed the vote of thanks. He expressed gratitude to the Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Narhona Administrative Academy, all guests and senior trainers, and thanked them for the successful organisation of the training programme.
