CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the Faculty of Pharmacy, Bhabha University, the 5th National Pharmacovigilance Week is being celebrated with great enthusiasm until September 24, 2025. This year’s theme is — “Your Safety, Just a Click Away: Report to PvPI.” On the fourth day of the event, a workshop on ADR (Adverse Drug Reaction) reporting was conducted. The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Shailesh Kumar Ghatwari, provided information on the adverse effects of drugs and trained students on how to fill out reporting forms. He also conducted sensitization training, practical sessions on the PvPI app, and an introduction to the Certificate Course in Pharmacovigilance (PharmUni, Germany).

In continuation, a Quiz Contest focusing on Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety was organized, conducted by Dr. O.P. Agrawal, Principal of Bhabha Pharmacy Research Institute. Students participated enthusiastically in the contest.

The program was anchored by Dr. Manoj Sahu.

During the closing ceremony, all distinguished guests appreciated the activities organized under Pharmacovigilance Week. They stated that such events help students understand the importance of drug safety and reporting systems, which will also be useful in their professional careers. Additionally, they praised the active participation of students, describing it as a notable achievement for the university.
