CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Grand Conclusion of the 66th All India Kalidas Festival Held in Ujjain The closing ceremony of the 66th All India Kalidas Festival was held at the auditorium of the Kalidas Sanskrit Academy in Ujjain. On this occasion, various participants were honored and awarded. The works of the great poet Kalidas reflect India’s rich knowledge tradition, and the festival serves as a remarkable example of our ancient culture and civilization.
The event featured vibrant cultural performances, including mesmerizing presentations of Surbahar Vadan, Ghungroo Vadan, and Sarod Vadan. Acharya Mithila Prasad Tripathi was honored with the “Shreshtha Kriti Alankaran” award during the ceremony.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Chetanya Kashyap. Saraswat Guest Swami Siyaram Das Maharaj from the Raghunath Temple in Mount Abu added prestige to the event, which was presided over by Pradeep Taranekar, President of the All India Tripadi Family.
Other distinguished guests included MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, Chairperson Kalavati Yadav, Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Gupta, Vikram University Vice-Chancellor Arpan Bharadwaj, Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh, and Vijay Kumar Menon, among several notable personalities.
