CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Governor Mangubhai Patel was paid a courtesy visit by the officials of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) at Raj Bhavan. The Commission’s Chairman, Rajesh Lal Mehra, presented the 67th Annual Report of the Commission. Also present on the occasion were members Krishnakant Sharma and Narendra Kumar Koshti, along with Secretary Prabal Sipaha.
Chairman Rajesh Lal Mehra informed Governor Mangubhai Patel that during the year 2023-24, the Commission issued 70 notifications to fill positions in various departments of the state government. During the reporting period, 21 examinations were conducted, and interviews of 13,833 candidates were held. A total of 4,943 recommendations for appointments were sent to the government, including the selection of 3,114 candidates in 2023-24 and 1,829 candidates in 2024-25.
He also briefed the Governor about the innovations implemented in the organization of the State Eligibility Test (SET) and the evaluation processes undertaken by the Commission.
