A delegation from the Nursing Home Association paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) office.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Representatives from various private healthcare institutions and organizations paid a courtesy visit to Bhopal Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Manish Sharma. During the meeting, the delegation shared details about the health services being provided by private healthcare institutions in collaboration with the government.

The delegation included Anoop Hajela, Ranveer Singh, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Mahesh Gupta, Vinod Jain, Umesh Sharda, Rahul Khare, and many other private doctors.

During discussions with the delegation, CMHO Dr. Manish Sharma stated that the government is continuously striving to ensure health services reach all citizens. He emphasized that private medical service providers are playing a vital role in supporting these efforts alongside the government. He also acknowledged the significant contribution of private hospitals in delivering benefits under the Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Yojana.

Nursing home operators informed that services are being provided to patients strictly in accordance with the standards prescribed under the Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Yojana. Dr. Sharma also discussed hospital preparedness for COVID-19 and called for active cooperation in the Tuberculosis (TB) elimination program.
