CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A health camp was organized by the AYUSH Department of AIIMS Bhopal in Barkhedi, Jahangirabad. This initiative was carried out under the guidance of AIIMS Bhopal’s Executive Director, Ajay Singh, who is a strong advocate for extending healthcare services to underserved rural populations. The health camp, held in Barkhedi, Jahangirabad, provided medical services to numerous patients. Representing AYUSH were Medical Officer Tariq Barkati and Yoga Instructor Chanchal Suryavanshi.

During the camp, a special yoga session was conducted for the students of the Government Higher Secondary School (CM RISE) in Barkhedi, Jahangirabad. Both students and teachers actively participated, with over 500 attendees in total.

In honor of Teacher’s Day, a special yoga session was organized. In this session, lead yoga instructor Chanchal Suryavanshi guided the teachers and students through various practices of pranayama and meditation. At the start, senior doctors and yoga experts from the AYUSH department highlighted the scientific and spiritual aspects of pranayama and meditation. They explained how regular practice of pranayama can bring energy and positivity into life.

Professor Ajay Singh praised the efforts of the AYUSH Department in organizing this health camp. He emphasized the importance of such outreach activities in improving access to healthcare and outcomes in rural areas, empowering rural communities to lead healthy lives. AIIMS Bhopal is dedicated to expanding quality healthcare services to remote regions as part of its mission.
