Dr. Saransh Jain, a visiting consultant from the Gastro Medicine Department of BMHRC, educated the gas-affected patients and their dependents about the diseases caused by obesity and their adverse effects. The institution’s dietitian, Alka Dubey, emphasized the importance of diet in overcoming obesity and explained how certain dietary habits can help prevent obesity. A total of 92 patients were registered at the camp, and their BMI was assessed.
