CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: India has always been a land of spirituality, service, discipline, and knowledge. Today, the greatest strength of modern India lies in this very tradition—its youth power. With 65% of the population being young, the country is advancing on the path of progress, innovation, and global leadership.
Swami Vivekananda believed that a true youth is one who moves forward toward future goals without worrying about the past. Today’s youth have brought his vision to life. From startups, innovation, and the digital revolution to the sports arena, Indian youth have earned a global identity.
On one hand, more than 15,000 patents are being filed in India every year, and on the other, the rise of over 26,000 startups is evidence that Indian youth are moving towards self-reliance. The youth have played a highly commendable role in campaigns like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Hackathons, Digital India, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
India’s youth are not only technologically empowered but also deeply connected to culture, civilization, and compassion. This harmony between spirituality and science is propelling India to new heights on the global stage.
Today, it is essential to channel the energy of youth, provide them with opportunities, and make them active participants in the nation-building process. Only then will the dream of a “Developed India” be realized.
