CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The entire country is observing Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. As part of this commemoration, photo and digital exhibitions based on themes provided by the Railway Board were organized across the Jabalpur, Bhopal, and Kota divisions of West Central Railway. These exhibitions were inaugurated by freedom fighters from the respective regions, in the presence of dignitaries, railway passengers, officials, staff, scouts and guides, and members of the Railway Protection Force. The exhibitions attracted a large number of visitors, including schoolchildren, who were eager to learn about the country’s partition and its impact.

In Bhopal Division, the exhibition at Rani Kamlapati Station was inaugurated by freedom fighter Mohammad Zamir Khan. The event was attended by Divisional Railway Manager Devashish Tripathi, Additional Divisional Railway Managers Rashmi Diwakar and Yogesh Saxena, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, and other officials, dignitaries, and members of the public. Additionally, physical and digital exhibitions were held at Bhopal Station, as well as at Bina and Itarsi stations, and Senior Secondary Schools in New Yard Itarsi and Itarsi.

In Jabalpur Division, the photo exhibitions were held at all major railway stations, including Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Rewa, Sagar, Damoh, and Narsinghpur. The exhibition at Jabalpur was inaugurated by freedom fighters Komalchand Jain, Ratan Lal Vachhani, Dr. Nandlal, Devidas Devani, Motilal Parwani, Chandrakumar Gogya, Uddhavdas Parwani, and Gulab Rai, in the presence of Divisional Railway Manager Vivek Sheel, Additional Divisional Railway Managers Anand Kumar and Sunil Taylor, and other officials and citizens. The event included cultural performances by railway employees and passengers, featuring patriotic songs.

In Kota Division, digital photo exhibitions were held at Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Bundi, Jhalawar City, and Baran stations. The exhibition at Kota Junction was inaugurated by freedom fighters Amarjeet Singh, Raghuraj Singh Karmyogi, and Bhagwat Singh, in the presence of Divisional Railway Manager Manish Tiwari, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rohit Malviya, and other officials and railway staff. The exhibitions were well-received, with the public and railway passengers showing great interest in learning about the history of India’s partition.
