CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the student-teacher dialogue program jointly organized by the Association of Technical Professional Institutes (ATPI) and LNCT University, discussions were held on the integration of Indian knowledge traditions with vocational/technical education. The chief guest of the event was the Minister of Higher Education of Madhya Pradesh, Inder Singh Parmar.
Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Chairman of the Association of Technical Professional Institutes (ATPI), welcomed the chief guest, Minister Inder Singh Parmar, by presenting a bouquet. Addressing the event, Minister Parmar highlighted the rich history of India’s Sanatan tradition, stating that the innovations in this tradition have made development possible. He mentioned the Indian Gurukul system, emphasizing that it not only reflects the relationship between teacher and student but also helped India become a world leader in education. He underlined the importance of the Hindi language and noted that improving the education system is the only way to counter destructive forces.
The Chancellor of LNCT University, J.N. Chouksey, was also present at the event, along with Praveen Thakral from Oriental Group of Colleges, ATPI Vice President B.S. Yadav, Secretary Mukesh Patidar, and many members of ATPI.
During the program, ATPI Chairman Dr. Anupam Chouksey stated that vocational institutes in Madhya Pradesh have always emphasized linking technical education with Indian knowledge traditions to ensure that along with skill development, students gain knowledge about their heritage and remain connected to their Sanatan tradition. The event was attended by LNCT University Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.K. Thapak, heads of various departments, and a large number of students from various vocational institutions.
