CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A special seminar is being organized by the Ministry of Railways and the National Commission for Women and Children to ensure the safe and secure travel of women on trains. This seminar will take place on August 29, 2024, at the Railway Narmada Club Auditorium, Bhopal, in coordination with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) Bhopal.

The seminar will feature discussions on various safety measures by a three-member committee from the National Commission for Women and Children. The event will include participation from personnel of various ranks from the police, GRP, and RPF, as well as female personnel from the Anti-Human Trafficking units of Kota and Jabalpur.

The aim of the seminar is to raise public awareness about the various initiatives launched by the RPF to enhance the safety and security of women, with a particular focus on initiatives like ‘Meri Saheli’ and ‘Nannhe Farishte.’
