CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In line with the vision of Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh, the latest technologies are being utilized for road construction and maintenance in the state. A special training program on the White Topping technique was organized in Bhopal, where retired CRRI scientist Vinod Kumar provided expert guidance.

The training program was held in the presence of PWD ENC Rakesh Mehra and Chief Engineer Sanjay Maske. Chief engineers, superintending engineers, executive engineers, and subdivision officers from the department participated via video conferencing.

White Topping is an advanced technique that enhances the long-term strength and durability of roads. Through this technique, significant improvements in road construction and maintenance are expected, which will accelerate infrastructure development in the state.

Minister Rakesh Singh emphasized the importance of using new technologies in road construction for the future. He noted that this will improve road quality and reduce maintenance costs.
