“A Tree in Mother’s Name” Campaign: Tree Plantation at Doordarshan Kendra Bhopal.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the “A Tree in Mother’s Name” campaign, a tree plantation event was organized on Thursday in the premises of Doordarshan Kendra Bhopal under the aegis of the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) Regional Office, Bhopal. On this occasion, Prashant Pathrabe, Additional Director General of PIB and CBC, Bhopal, planted a tree. Director Pathrabe highlighted the significance of this campaign in preserving and protecting the environment.

He urged people to plant as many trees as possible under this campaign. Director Pathrabe also emphasized that in addition to planting trees, we must take proper care of them so they can grow and benefit the environment. Present at the event were Ashish Potnis, Deputy Director General of Doordarshan, and Pooja P. Vardhan, Director of Doordarshan and All India Radio News. Officers and employees of Doordarshan and the Central Bureau of Communication also participated in the tree plantation. Later, the Additional Director General administered the cleanliness pledge to the staff and officials of both departments.
