CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of the 69th Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Bharat Ratna and the architect of the Indian Constitution, Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, a tribute ceremony was organized in the Bhopal Railway Division. A large number of officers and employees were present at the event, which was held in the premises of the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Tyagi. After this, officers and employees paid homage to Babasaheb by offering garlands and flowers at his portrait. Representatives of various associations and railway staff also paid their respects to Babasaheb.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria said that the constitutional values, principles of social justice, and equality given by Babasaheb continue to inspire the nation. Similar tribute programs were also organized collectively by railway personnel at all stations and depot offices under the Bhopal Division.
The ceremony held in the Bhopal Division served as an important occasion to remember Babasaheb’s contributions, his thoughts, and his pivotal role in nation-building.
On this occasion, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Yogendra Baghel, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Vijay Singh, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, along with other officers and a large number of employees, were present.
