CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A Vigilance Awareness Seminar was organized by the Vigilance Branch of West Central Railway, Jabalpur, at the Conference Hall of the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office in Bhopal. The seminar began with the release of a booklet titled “Vigilance Bulletin” by Divisional Railway Manager Devashish Tripathi. On this occasion, he emphasized, “Transparency and integrity in the railway’s work are our top priorities. It is the responsibility of every employee and officer to strictly adhere to rules and policies.” The booklet provides information related to various departments and highlights vigilance measures, aiming to raise awareness among employees and emphasize the importance of vigilance.

The Vigilance Branch is currently conducting a Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2024 (“Prosperity of the Nation Through the Culture of Integrity”) from August 16, 2024, to November 15, 2024. Under this campaign, railway employees and officers are being made aware of the need to maintain honesty, transparency, and ethics in their work, ensuring the correct adherence to organizational policies and the prevention of corruption.

The seminar was conducted by vigilance officers and inspectors through a PowerPoint presentation. Topics discussed included the Railway Discipline and Appeal Rules, the Code of Conduct, transparency in contract execution, measures to prevent malpractice, and proper compliance with rules and policies. Additionally, case studies of significant issues were presented to provide practical knowledge to employees. The seminar was attended by staff from various railway departments, depot heads, and officers.

Through such seminars and awareness campaigns, the railway administration aims to continuously educate its employees on the importance of vigilance and ethics, thereby promoting discipline, integrity, and clean working practices in the workplace.

Present at the seminar were Divisional Railway Manager Devashish Tripathi, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Rashmi Diwakar, Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer Arun Kumar Sharma, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Vijay Singh, and other officers and staff from the division.
