CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A comprehensive celebration of Hindi Fortnight is being held at NITTTR Bhopal. It is noteworthy that the formal inauguration of Hindi Fortnight was conducted by Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. In line with this, Hindi Fortnight will be celebrated at the institute until September 30, with various workshops and competitions being organized to raise awareness about learning and speaking Hindi.
On this occasion, NITTTR Bhopal Director and Chairman of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee, C.C. Tripathi, conveyed in his message that Hindi is not just a language but a medium of our culture, identity, and expression of thoughts. He urged everyone to make Hindi a symbol of our culture and knowledge and preserve it for future generations.
At the inauguration of Hindi Fortnight, a workshop on “Applications of Science” in Hindi was organized, coordinated by P.K. Purohit. He emphasized that “teaching science in Hindi is essential not only for the promotion of the language but also for fostering scientific thinking.” The purpose of this workshop was to promote science education and teaching in Hindi.
Following this, a humorous poetry competition was organized at the institute, with judges Sangeeta Gundecha, a professor at Sanskrit University, and Vandana Tripathi. The event was attended by Hussain Jivakhan, Basheerullah Shek, Narakas Secretary Sanjay Tripathi, and Hindi translator Mrs. Babli Chaturvedi.
