CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray launched a sharp attack on six rebel Members of Parliament who recently left the Uddhav Thackeray-led faction and joined the rival camp headed by Eknath Shinde. Reacting to the latest defections, Aaditya accused the MPs of putting political ambitions above loyalty and public trust, describing the development as a betrayal of the mandate under which they were elected.

In a strongly worded statement, the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader alleged that the rebel lawmakers had effectively put their loyalty “up for sale” and abandoned the party that helped them secure electoral victories. He argued that such actions damage not only political credibility but also public confidence in democratic institutions and party commitments.

The criticism comes amid one of the biggest setbacks faced by the UBT faction since the original split in the Shiv Sena. The six MPs formally joined the Shinde-led Shiv Sena, strengthening the ruling faction’s position and intensifying the ongoing political battle for influence within the party.

Despite the setback, the camp led by Uddhav Thackeray has vowed to continue its political fight and reconnect with party workers and voters across Maharashtra. Party leaders maintain that grassroots support remains intact and that the organization will emerge stronger from the latest challenge.
