Concerns have increased over the security of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. During the investigation into the firing on actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai, it has emerged that the alleged attackers had carried out recce several times around Aamir Khan’s residence in Bandra. According to police sources, the suspects’ initial target was Aamir Khan, but after finding it difficult to reach him, they allegedly planned to target Tiger Shroff.
Claim of three recces of Aamir Khan’s house
According to a report by The Indian Express, sources linked to the investigation said the suspects carried out recce at least three times in the area of Aamir Khan’s residence in Mumbai over about a month. They reportedly arrived in Mumbai in September and stayed at a lodge in Bandra.
Sources claimed the suspects tried to keep watch on Aamir’s movements, but the actor was often away in connection with film shoots or did not step out of his home for several days. This made it difficult for the alleged attackers to reach him. However, these details can be confirmed only after the investigation is completed.
Why did the suspects then turn towards Tiger Shroff?
According to sources linked to the investigation, after failing to reach Aamir, the suspects began tracking Tiger Shroff’s movements. The report claimed they had learned that the actor regularly visited a football ground in Juhu.
On October 18, firing took place on Tiger Shroff’s car. After the incident, Mumbai Police intensified the investigation and began probing the people allegedly involved in the conspiracy and their possible contacts.
Aamir Khan had received a threat earlier
According to reports, Aamir Khan had received a threat through social media in July 2026. The person who issued the threat claimed links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. However, a claim of association with any gang is not in itself proof of involvement.
Questions over Bollywood stars’ security
After this development, concerns have grown over security arrangements in the film industry. The investigation is also looking into suspicious activities around the homes of other stars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. At present, the probe is continuing into links between the recce of Aamir Khan’s home and the attack on Tiger Shroff. Only the official police investigation and further evidence that emerges will clarify the full picture of the alleged conspiracy.
