CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A delegation of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), led by Madhya Bharat Prant Minister Ketan Chaturvedi, met Inder Singh Parmar, Minister of Technical and Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh, and submitted evidence of academic irregularities in the NAAC SSR report of Rajiv Gandhi Technological University. They demanded the immediate registration of an FIR against the Vice-Chancellor and other responsible officials.

For several days, Rajiv Gandhi Technological University has been under scrutiny for corruption and administrative irregularities. Recently, manipulations in the process of obtaining the NAAC A++ grade have come to light, serving as the latest example.

ABVP pointed out that the SSR report uploaded by the university on the portal contains several incorrect facts, raising serious questions about the academic standards, transparency, and credibility of the university. The SSR report was supposed to be made public before the NAAC team’s visit, but it was uploaded on the website only on 17 November.

ABVP demanded that FIRs be registered against all individuals involved in the matter, and that Section 54 be immediately invoked within the university.

Ketan Chaturvedi, ABVP Madhya Bharat Prant Minister, stated that the SSR report contains numerous serious errors and several pieces of information that are contrary to reality, indicating serious academic corruption. Many facts presented in the report appear false at first glance.

He emphasized that the Minister of Technical Education and the Madhya Pradesh government should immediately register FIRs against the culprits for fraud and implement Section 54 in the university with immediate effect.

Today, the ABVP delegation met Minister Inder Singh Parmar at his residence. Chaturvedi also warned that if the government does not take action, the ABVP may launch an intensified protest movement.
