CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: Abhyuday 2026, the two-day CA student mega conference directed by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s Board of Studies (Operations) and organised by the Bhopal Branch, concluded grandly today at the RCVP Noronha Administration Academy Auditorium.
CNN Central News and Network–ITDC India ePress/ITDC News Bhopal reported that top experts from across the country guided students on the New Income Tax Act 2025, Ind AS and examination stress management, while aspiring chartered accountants added colour to the cultural evening. More than 700 students participated in the event.
On the second and final day of the conference, subject experts introduced CA students to modern changes in the financial world and practical skills. The main objective of the two-day gathering was to prepare students for the changing global economic landscape and corporate challenges.
The second day opened with technical sessions focused on the country’s changing tax systems and financial standards.
In Session 3 on the New Income Tax Act, distinguished speaker CA Anshul Agrawal explained the country’s new tax code and the simplification of direct taxes in detail. He told students how tax compliance has been made more transparent and effective under the new law, and how future CAs should absorb these changes.
In Session 4 on Indian Accounting Standards, senior expert CA Yagnesh Desai spoke on the importance of Ind AS in bringing global uniformity to financial reporting. He explained disclosures and complex accounting benchmarks in the corporate world in a simple manner with practical examples.

A special skill development session was also held to help students deal with the demanding CA curriculum and examination stress. In this session, CA Neha Dutta guided students on the topic “How to Face CA Exam”. She shared practical tips on time management, balancing studies with articleship and maintaining mental focus, which left students highly motivated.
After the intensive technical sessions, a grand cultural evening was organised from 5 pm to showcase student talent. The session filled the auditorium with energy and enthusiasm.
CA students from different parts of the country delivered impressive performances in group dancing and singing competitions. Bollywood games and anchoring competitions also kept the audience engaged, showing that CA students excel not only in complex calculations but also in art and creativity.
At the close of the successful event, ICAI Board of Studies (Operations) Chairman CA Rajesh Sharma, Regional Council Member CA Rajeev Gupta, Bhopal Branch Chairman CA Aditya Shrivastav and Vice-Chairman CA Pradeep Mutreja jointly said that the success of the two-day programme had further enhanced the pride of the Bhopal Branch. They appreciated the active participation of more than 700 students from across the country.
In the final phase of the conference, CICASA Bhopal Chairman CA Piyush Chatar, Vice-Chairperson Deepal Verma and Secretary Nandani Pahalwani, along with the entire core committee, thanked all volunteers, media partners and the Administration Academy staff for making the programme a success.
