CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under Abhyudaya Bharat 2026, LNCT University organized a series of lectures and related activities across 19 private universities with the aim of promoting national consciousness, cultural values, social responsibility, and holistic personality development among youth.
The program included lectures on topics such as Vande Mataram, Bhagwan Birsa Munda, and Guru Tegh Bahadur, along with activities focused on environment, swadeshi (self-reliance), and civic etiquette. LNCT University was designated as the nodal agency for the successful execution of the program.
In this context, a joint event was organized on April 27 and 28, 2026, at the LNCT University campus under the aegis of the Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, Bhopal, and LNCT University. A total of 57 teams from 19 universities participated, presenting patriotic songs, dramas, and paintings.
At the concluding session of Abhyudaya Bharat 2026, the chief guest speaker was Dr. Ashok Pandey, former Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, Indore. Other distinguished attendees included Prof. Khem Singh Daheria, Chairman of the MP Private University Regulatory Commission; Jai Narayan Chouksey, Chancellor of LNCT University (who presided over the program); Mahesh Chandra Chaudhary, Administrative Member of the Commission; Dr. Devendra Singh Gurjar, Secretary of the Commission; Dr. Sachin Tiwari, Professor at NITTTR; Prof. Narendra Kumar Thapak, Vice-Chancellor of LNCT University; and Gaurav Tiwari, Pro-Chancellor of Mansarovar Global University, Sehore.
The program commenced with a welcome address and introduction of the dignitaries by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Narendra Kumar Thapak.
In his address, Prof. Khem Singh Daheria explained the true meaning of Abhyudaya Bharat, stating that real progress comes when youth not only dream but also have the courage to realize those dreams, which requires fundamental changes within. Speaking on Developed India 2047, he emphasized that this vision can be achieved by embracing a sense of self, duty consciousness, pride in heritage, unity, and civic discipline in daily life. He also highlighted that the National Education Policy 2020 provides a direction where education develops not only knowledge but also skills, values, and innovation.
As the keynote speaker, Dr. Ashok Pandey encouraged students to focus on national awareness, cultural values, and holistic personality development, motivating them to contribute to building the future of India. He urged the youth to reflect on the nation’s future and dedicate themselves to its progress.
Presiding over the event, Chancellor Jai Narayan Chouksey motivated students to actively contribute to nation-building and strive towards achieving the goals of a developed India.
During the concluding session, awards were distributed to the winning teams of the combined competitions. In the patriotic song category, LNCT University secured first place, Mansarovar Global University came second, and People’s University stood third. In the painting competition, LNCT University won first place, JNCT Professional University secured second, and Bhabha University came third. In the drama competition, People’s University secured first place, LNCT University second, and Bhabha University third. Participation certificates were also awarded to all other participating students from various universities.
