Accelerating Mission LiFE the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal commenced a three-day training  programme on Mission LiFE. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of the Director of the Institute Dr K. Ravichandran.

The training programme observed the participation of 26 individuals from various backgrounds, including founders of stakeholder organizations, project managers, social experts, environmentalists, technical officers, technical advisors, and sustainability project heads.

Under the guidance of the programme director Dr Yogesh Dubey, this training programme features a wide range of expert season including essential topics, notably, Mission LiFE thematic areas and its inter-relation with SDGs, Mission LiFE- Behavior-based solutions for Pro-Planet people, Managing urban green & blue spaces for a better life, Adopting sustainable food systems & Experiencing Sustainable organic farming, Water Crisis: Challenges and solutions, Saving water for future, Circular Economy: Way forward in meeting sustainability challenges, Beating the waste for clean environment- how to deal with municipal, plastic and others wastes from our daily lives, Adopting Sustainable & healthy lifestyle and How to lead an energy-efficient lifestyle – options & opportunities – saving energy. This training will also feature a visit to the Municipal Solid waste dumping site to provide a better understanding.

The program also includes an exposure visit to a municipal solid waste dumping site to provide participants with practical insights and a better understanding of waste management challenges.

This multi-faceted training is aimed towards the commitment to fostering environmental sustainability and promoting pro-planet behaviours among diverse stakeholders across the country.
