Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC) marked Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 with the theme, “Nation’s Prosperity through Integrity.” This annual event is observed on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

“Free yourself from corruption, and the nation will follow suit.” These were the words of ACP Richa Jain during the closing ceremony of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 at BMHRC. Jain emphasized that success is achievable when one completes assigned tasks with honesty, regardless of personal preferences or challenges.

She encouraged individuals to dedicate themselves to their duties, ignoring criticism, and remain committed to their responsibilities.

Prof. J. Shankar emphasized that government employees must never exceed the boundaries of their authority and should work with honesty and integrity. Transparency in public procurement was identified as a critical factor in maintaining ethical governance.

Remarks from BMHRC Director Manisha Srivastava

Director Manisha Srivastava addressed the audience, urging everyone to uphold loyalty toward their work and institution and maintain honesty toward the nation. She reminded attendees to act in ways that bring pride, not shame, to their families.

Gulwani praised the government’s efforts to curb corruption through digitization and technology. She noted that while these measures are effective, a corruption-free society is only achievable if individuals operate within the framework of ethics.
