CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under Seva Pakhwada, a TB awareness program was organized at the District Tuberculosis Center, Bhopal. On this occasion, more than 100 food baskets were distributed to TB patients. Chief Medical and Health Officer Bhopal Dr. Manish Sharma, District Health Officer Bharti Choukse, and District Tuberculosis Officer Pranjal Khare were present at the event.

As part of Seva Pakhwada, which is being conducted till October 2, daily activities are organized according to specific themes set by the Health Department. On the theme of TB awareness, food baskets were distributed to TB patients in line with their nutritional requirements. With the support of District Health Officer Dr. Bharti Choukse, over 50 food baskets were provided during the program.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Bhopal, Dr. Manish Sharma, stated that under the Prime Minister TB Free India Campaign, efforts are being made to provide additional nutritional support to TB patients. Various community members, institutions, and NGOs are being connected with this initiative from time to time. The food baskets contain high-protein diets and are distributed to patients monthly throughout their six-month treatment period.
