CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Acumatica, a global provider of cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, has opened a new Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, marking an important step in the company’s international expansion strategy. Located in Nanakramguda, the centre has started operations with more than 30 employees, with additional hiring planned in the coming months.
The Hyderabad GCC will initially focus on engineering and is being positioned as a centre of engineering excellence supporting Acumatica’s product innovation and global customers. The company expects the facility to strengthen its product development capabilities while creating opportunities to expand into additional functions as its presence in India grows.
Acumatica’s decision to establish the centre in Hyderabad reflects India’s growing importance as a global technology and engineering hub. The city offers access to a deep pool of skilled professionals and an established technology ecosystem, making it an attractive location for companies seeking to build distributed innovation teams.
The new facility joins Acumatica’s existing operations in the United States, Canada, Serbia and Sri Lanka. This expanded international footprint will allow the company to develop products and capabilities across multiple locations while strengthening support for customers worldwide.
The Hyderabad centre has been established in partnership with Summit Consulting Services, an ANSR company, which is supporting Acumatica with talent strategy, capability design and operational scaling.
The launch also highlights Hyderabad’s growing role in India’s Global Capability Centre ecosystem. For Acumatica, the immediate priority will be to build its engineering team, accelerate product innovation and develop capabilities that contribute directly to its global growth.
As cloud ERP adoption expands among small and mid-sized businesses, the Hyderabad GCC could become an important part of Acumatica’s technology and product development strategy, strengthening both its India operations and worldwide customer offerings.
