CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Government welfare schemes must be implemented with high quality to ensure that the public can benefit from them on time and without inconvenience, making their tasks easier. Departments must meet the targets assigned under various government schemes within the stipulated time. Officials should maintain continuous coordination with public representatives regarding the implementation of government schemes and programs, and promptly and effectively resolve public applications received through them.
Additional Chief Secretary and Bhopal Division In-charge, Mohammad Suleman, issued these directives during the divisional review meeting held today in the conference hall of the Divisional Commissioner’s Office, Bhopal.
The meeting was attended by MLAs Vishnu Khatri, Prabhuram Chaudhary, Hazarilal Dangi, Gopal Singh Engineer, Hari Singh Sapre, Suryaprakash Meena, Mayor Malti Rai, Raisen District Panchayat President Yashwant Meena, Bhopal Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh, collectors from all districts of the division, Chief Executive Officers of District Panchayats, divisional officers, and other concerned officials.
Additional Chief Secretary Suleman directed that demands made by public representatives for regional development be prioritized. He also suggested that Bhopal Municipal Corporation explore the possibility of operating tourism activities in water bodies through private partnerships. Actions were also discussed regarding the relocation of the agricultural produce market in Vidisha, the upgradation of the Amadpur State Highway, the construction of a sub-health center building in Khilchipur, veterinary training courses in Raisen, the construction of a cultural auditorium, and the development of a ropeway.
The district-wise review of the Chief Minister’s Welfare Campaign, conducted from December 11 to January 26, was also undertaken. Under the rural campaign, 2,301 camps have been organized so far, with 263,026 applications received, out of which 243,724 applications have been resolved. Similarly, under the urban welfare campaign, 724 camps were held, with 268,967 applications received and 263,614 resolved. Instructions were issued to resolve the remaining applications within the timeframe.
In the review of Revenue Campaign 3.0, it was reported that 100% achievements have been made in tasks like mutation, partition, demarcation, record correction, and identification of traditional paths. In the state ranking of Revenue Campaign 3.0, Vidisha district ranked second, Sehore fourth, Raisen sixth, Rajgarh 19th, and Bhopal 31st.
Efforts should be made to ensure the timely availability of records such as Khasra, Khatauni, and birth, death, and marriage certificates to the public.
The Additional Chief Secretary appreciated the progress made in the implementation of Prime Minister beneficiary-oriented schemes in the division. These include Aadhaar cards, Samagra IDs, Ayushman cards, caste certificates, ration cards/eligibility slips, Ujjwala Yojana, Kisan Credit Cards, Jan Dhan accounts, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and self-help group schemes.
Instructions were also issued regarding the “Dharati Aba Tribal Village Utkarsh Campaign.” Under this scheme, a total of 277 villages in the division have been selected, including one in Bhopal, 80 in Sehore, 86 in Vidisha, 18 in Rajgarh, and 92 in Raisen. These villages have a population of 500 or more, with at least 50% tribal residents. The campaign aims for the holistic development of these socially and economically backward tribal communities, including initiatives for housing, roads, energy, skill development, home-stay projects, hostels, comprehensive education, Anganwadi centers, forest rights, and beneficiary-centric schemes from various departments.
Detailed surveys and action plans were instructed to ensure the completion of activities under the campaign.
