CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: ADM Sumit Pandey has directed all sub-divisional officers (SDMs) to regularly inspect hostels operating in their respective areas. He said smooth mess arrangements, quality food and the availability of other basic facilities must be ensured for students living in hostels.
ADM Pandey was chairing a review meeting on time-limit letters on Monday. ADM Prakash Nayak, ADM Mahendra Singh Kavche and officials from various departments were present at the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the implementation of government schemes, resolution of public grievances and pending time-limit letters. While conducting a department-wise review of complaints registered on the Chief Minister’s Helpline, Pandey directed officials to ensure quality and satisfactory resolution of public complaints within the stipulated time limit.
He said any laxity in resolving complaints would not be accepted. Officials were also given necessary directions regarding effective implementation of government schemes and prompt resolution of public problems.
The meeting also discussed the redensification action plan for the city’s development and the organised use of government premises. ADM Pandey directed the departments concerned to take necessary action promptly regarding the action plan.
