CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the direction of Collector Priyanka Mishra, a review meeting on Time Limit (T.L.) letters was held in the conference hall of the Collector’s office. The meeting was chaired by Additional District Magistrate Sujit Pandey. District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Ila Tiwari, Additional Collectors Prakash Nayak, P.C. Shakya, Mahendra Kavach and officers from various departments were present.
DM Sumit Pandey directed that all prescribed activities under the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” be organised in a systematic manner. He instructed that photographs and videos of programmes held under the campaign be compulsorily sent to the district administration. He also directed all departmental officers to submit authentic information and databases of beneficiaries covered under public welfare schemes.
During the review of Time Limit letters, DM Pandey instructed officials to ensure quality disposal of complaints received under the “Jan Vishwas Shivir” within the stipulated time frame. He also took serious note of pending complaints on the “Chief Minister Helpline” and directed the concerned officers to ensure their resolution within the prescribed period.
A presentation on the social security schemes of the Department of Posts was also made during the meeting. A representative of the Indian Postal Department provided detailed information on important social security and savings schemes of the central and state governments. The representative briefed officers on the main provisions of Postal Life Insurance (PLI), Rural Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and the “Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana”, which is run for the bright future of girls, so that eligible beneficiaries can easily receive the benefits of these schemes.
