CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the direction of Collector Priyank Mishra, a weekly review meeting of time-limit (TL) letters was held in the conference hall of the Collector’s office. Reviewing the progress of departmental work, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Sumit Pandey made it clear that any laxity in public-interest work would not be accepted. He said show-cause notices would be issued as per rules against officials found negligent, and all departments must work with coordination and team spirit to ensure time-bound redressal of citizens’ problems.
During the department-wise review of the CM Helpline at the meeting, ADM Pandey expressed serious displeasure over pending and unattended complaints. He directed that quality redressal of citizens’ complaints within the time limit is the administration’s highest priority. Action will be taken as per rules against officials who have been negligent in resolving complaints, he said.
At the meeting, the agriculture department was directed to work in line with the targets set under the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the ‘Krishak Kalyan Varsh’ (Farmers’ Welfare Year). The mineral department was instructed to continue sustained action against illegal mining and illegal transport, while the health department was directed to improve progress in various health campaigns and ensure improvement in the quality of medical services.
For effective implementation of the New Education Policy, the education and women and child development departments were directed to speed up the process of co-location of anganwadi centres. In addition, the education department was instructed to reconnect dropout children with schools, accelerate the ‘ULLAS Nav Bharat Saksharta Abhiyan’ and ensure effective implementation of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana’ by extending the benefits of the schemes to targeted beneficiaries.
