CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A flag-off programme for interceptor vehicles equipped with advanced equipment was organised in Lucknow. Four-wheeler and two-wheeler interceptor vehicles were included in the programme. These vehicles will help monitor violations of traffic rules and strengthen the road safety system.
During the programme, officials took information about the vehicles’ technical features and their use. The purpose of these vehicles, fitted with advanced equipment, is to make monitoring of vehicles on roads more effective and to ensure compliance with traffic rules.
The operation of four-wheeler and two-wheeler interceptor vehicles is expected to increase the monitoring capacity of the traffic police. They can be used particularly to identify cases related to speeding, violations of traffic rules and road safety.
