CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Considering the increasing heat, AIIMS Bhopal’s Executive Director Ajay Singh has instructed to make special arrangements for the convenience of patients. Due to the continuously rising temperatures in recent days, there has been a significant increase in the number of patients experiencing complaints such as dehydration, fever, fatigue, weakness, vomiting, and diarrhea. In the last three days alone, the number of patients in the Medicine Department’s OPD has been 634, 572, and 620 respectively. In view of the increasing number of patients, the physicians of the Medicine Department at AIIMS Bhopal are continuously attending to patients. Upon reaching the hospital, hospital staff are assisting patients from their registration to taking them to the relevant doctor to ensure that they do not face any problems.

Professor Rajneesh Joshi, head of the Medicine Department, has advised to keep some special things in mind during this hot weather. Cover the body when going out in the sun, consume plenty of fluids, do light exercise, and if not necessary, avoid going out in the sun. People with conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure need to take special care. Executive Director Ajay Singh of AIIMS Bhopal, while advising people to take precautions in view of the rising temperatures, said that by adopting small things, one can keep themselves healthy.
