CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Afro Fest, a celebration of African culture and traditions, was organized for the third consecutive year with great enthusiasm and grandeur as part of the ongoing annual fest Rhythm 2026 at Rabindranath Tagore University. The event witnessed active participation from African students of RNTU, along with other African students residing in Bhopal and participants from various universities, transforming it into a vibrant inter-college cultural festival.

During Afro Fest, colorful performances captivated the audience. The program featured energetic dance performances, melodious music, and an आकर्षक fashion show, showcasing a unique blend of African traditions and modern expressions. This year, activities such as live band performances and theatrical presentations were also included, receiving immense appreciation and enthusiastic responses from the audience.

The event was conducted under the guidance and encouragement of the university’s senior leadership, including Prof. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Vice Chancellor Ravi Prakash Dubey, and Registrar Sangeeta Johri. The successful coordination of the program was carried out by Ritu Kumaran, Dean of International Affairs, whose efforts made the event memorable and highly successful.
