The maximum age limit has been increased from 21 years to 22 years, making candidates up to 22 years eligible to apply.

The applicant’s date of birth must be between 1 January 2005 and 1 July 2009 (both dates inclusive). Candidates must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks, including 50% or more in English.
Candidates with Physics and Mathematics in Class 12 are eligible to apply in both the Science Group and Other Groups.
Candidates with other subjects in Class 12 or equivalent are eligible to apply only in Other Groups (excluding Science).
