CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: According to information received from the Army Recruitment Office, Bhopal, the Indian Army has released the notification for recruitment to Agniveer posts. The official notification is available on the Indian Army’s website: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

The online application process for the Army recruitment started on 13 February 2026 and will remain open until 1 April 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online within this period.

Posts Available:

Agniveer Male: General Duty, Technical, Clerk/Storekeeper, Tradesman (10th pass and 8th pass)

Agniveer Female: Army Police

Permanent Cadre: Nursing Assistant, Nursing Assistant Wait, and Soldier Pharma

Common Entrance Examination (CEE) in June:

As part of the recruitment process, the online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) is expected to be held between 1 June and 10 June 2026. Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions and eligibility criteria related to the exam.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates applying for Agniveer Recruitment 2026 must meet the Indian Army’s prescribed eligibility standards. Only those fulfilling the age limit and educational qualifications will be allowed to participate in the selection process. Candidates failing to meet these criteria will not be considered.

Age Limit: 17.5 years to 21 years

Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th/Matric pass, with at least 45% aggregate marks and 33% marks in each subject

Nationality: Indian citizens

Gender: Male and Female (as per the post)

Salary and Benefits:

Selected candidates under Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026 will receive an attractive salary package and allowances.

Initial monthly salary: ₹30,000 (subject to annual increments)

Additional allowances: Risk allowance, hardship allowance, and other applicable benefits

Total pay after four years of service: Approximately ₹6.92 lakh

Service fund on completion of four-year tenure (with interest): Approximately ₹11.71 lakh

Year-wise Salary under Agniveer Recruitment 2026:

1st Year: ₹30,000 + applicable allowances

2nd Year: ₹33,000 + applicable allowances

3rd Year: ₹36,500 + applicable allowances

4th Year: ₹40,000 + applicable allowances
