CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Organic/Natural Farmers’ Market Organized in Sagar to Promote Chemical-Free Fertilizers

As part of an innovative initiative to promote chemical-free and toxin-free fertilizer production in the state, an organic/natural farmers’ market was organized at the P.T.C. Ground, Sagar. The event was attended by Minister of Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development, Edal Singh Kanshana.

Minister Kanshana stated that the state is actively promoting natural and organic farming, which is essential not only for farmers but also for the health of the general public and environmental protection. He appealed to farmers to adopt natural farming instead of chemical fertilizers as much as possible, to maintain soil fertility and ensure the production of safe, nutritious food grains.

He further added that the state government is continuously working to promote organic and natural farming for the welfare of farmers, and more schemes will be implemented in the future in this direction. The organic/natural farmers’ market will provide farmers with a better platform to sell their products, while consumers will have access to pure and toxin-free food items.

The event featured the display and sale of organic grains, fruits, vegetables, and other products produced by local farmers, attracting a large number of farmers and citizens.
