CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Urban Development and Housing Commissioner Sanket Bhondve has said that the relevant integration of artificial intelligence (AI) can bring revolutionary changes in making government functioning and citizen services faster, more transparent and data-driven. Through detailed analysis of the vast data available in urban areas, effective monitoring of services and a more agile decision-making process, the lives of ordinary citizens can be made easier and more convenient. Bhondve was expressing his views as the keynote speaker at the ‘GovAI Leadership Forum-2026’ organised by Oracle in Bhopal.
Emphasising security standards and data privacy, Commissioner Bhondve called for responsible and public-oriented use of technology. He said that while adopting AI-based innovations, it is extremely essential to ensure the security of digital data, the personal privacy of citizens and a robust cyber security system. He made it clear that public trust and data confidentiality can be protected only by maintaining a balance between technological progress and strict security standards.
Highlighting the new dimensions being established in digital good governance in Madhya Pradesh, Bhondve shared detailed information on the features and universal utility of ‘MP Locker’ and the ‘MP Urban Locker App’. He said that delivering important documents and urban services to citizens at their doorstep through digital platforms makes governance more transparent and responsive. The ‘MP Urban Locker App’ is available for public use on stores of both major platforms, Android and iOS.
The forum also discussed a balanced AI-based governance system. Experts in AI and digital technology participated and held in-depth deliberations on establishing coordination among technology, data management and security standards in administrative good governance. IT and AI experts, administrative officers and subject specialists were present on the occasion.
