Mumbai. In the investigation into the Pradeep Purnekar murder case, a claim has surfaced that an important lead was obtained with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is being said that the family used AI technology to analyse CCTV footage, after which a suspect was identified in the footage. The development has triggered fresh discussion around the investigation in the case.
In this matter, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray has levelled allegations against the Eknath Shinde faction. Raising questions over the murder case, he has demanded that the role of the party concerned be investigated. Political statements may also intensify after his allegations.
However, official confirmation from investigating agencies is still awaited on the identification that has emerged from the CCTV footage and the suspect’s role. The mere identification of a person as a suspect does not prove involvement. The actual position in the case will become clear only on the basis of the police investigation and available evidence.
