CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Taking a significant step toward integrating Madhya Pradesh with artificial intelligence–based good governance and the future technology-driven economy, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav formally launched the “AI Literacy Mission” during the MP AI Impact Conference 2026 held in Bhopal. The mission has been initiated by AISECT in collaboration with the state government, with the objective of making students, teachers, and youth from rural and semi-urban areas of the state aware of and skilled in artificial intelligence.

During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between AISECT and the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation, with the primary goal of promoting AI literacy and capacity building among the youth of Madhya Pradesh. Under this agreement, AISECT will implement the AI Literacy Mission effectively across the state through the “Kaushal Rath.”

Under this ambitious initiative, a major target has been set to train nearly 10 crore (100 million) students in AI technologies across the state by the year 2030.

On the inauguration occasion, Dr. Mohan Yadav flagged off the “Kaushal Rath”—a state-of-the-art mobile AI laboratory. This mobile computer lab will travel to various districts of the state to provide training in AI, machine learning, and data science at local ITIs, colleges, and PM Shri and CM Shri schools. The journey of the Kaushal Rath began from Bhopal.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mohan Yadav said that artificial intelligence will determine the direction of development and employment in the coming times. Therefore, it is essential that the youth of Madhya Pradesh do not remain mere consumers of technology, but also become its creators and leaders. The AI Literacy Mission is a decisive step for the state in this direction.

The conference was attended by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Dubey, IndiaAI CEO Abhishek Singh, along with several senior administrative officials and technical experts. With this initiative, Madhya Pradesh has taken a concrete step toward an AI-driven development model.

On this occasion, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President of AISECT and Chancellor of SCOPE Global Skills University, stated that through the Kaushal Rath, future digital skills are being delivered directly to rural institutions. This initiative will not only reduce the digital divide but also prepare youth for technology-based careers.

The Kaushal Rath operated by AISECT will travel across different regions of the state under a well-planned route. After Bhopal, the mobile lab will visit Sehore, Dewas, Khandwa, and Harda districts, followed by training programs in Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad), Raisen, Vidisha, and Ashoknagar. The campaign will conclude in the districts of Guna and Rajgarh.

In the initial phase, within the next three months, the mission aims to make approximately 22,000 students, 1,100 teachers, and 220 government employees AI-literate across 11 districts. Aligned with the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020 and Digital India, this mission seeks to prepare youth for future employment and innovation.
