CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal and India Post, Madhya Pradesh Circle, organized a special program on the occasion of World Health Day 2025, themed “Healthy Start, Hopeful Future.” The event focused on highlighting the importance of maternal and child health while emphasizing the creation of a strong community and a better future.
The program began with a warm welcome to the guests by Director Megha Singh, followed by a formal welcome address by Director Seema P. Mahant. Dr. Shikha Malik, Head of the Department of Pediatrics, discussed the need for focusing on health from the very beginning of life. Dr. Pratik Behera, Director of the Department of Orthopedics, elaborated on the importance of bone health in children.
Deputy Postmaster General of India Post, Madhya Pradesh Circle, Mr. Pawan Kumar Dalmia shared details of the activities conducted, while Chief Postmaster General Mr. Vineet Mathur emphasized the need for public participation and spreading awareness through postal channels.
The highlight of the event was the launch of the special postal cancellation (Special Postal Cancellation) on World Health Day. Finally, winners of the “Draw a Stamp” competition, held for students during the program, were awarded prizes. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Director Rajneesh Joshi.
