CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Executive Director Ajay Singh, a special program was organized at AIIMS Bhopal as part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign. The program aimed to raise awareness about personal hygiene and waste management among patients, staff, and visitors. On this occasion, hygiene kits and green-blue dustbins were distributed to patients to emphasize the importance of proper waste disposal. Additionally, hygiene and menstrual hygiene kits were distributed for the protection of patients, cleaning staff, and women’s health.
Along with this, cleanliness drives were conducted in various departments, focusing on the identification and proper disposal of waste under departmental waste management. Green and blue dustbins were distributed to patients with messages on the management of dry and wet waste.
To further promote hygiene, health education on handwashing was provided, and hand wash and soap were also distributed.
The Mayor of Bhopal Municipal Corporation, Malti Rai, was present as a special guest, along with other officials, including the Deputy Director (Administration) of AIIMS Bhopal, nursing staff, students, and representatives from the Bhopal Municipal Corporation.
