CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Executive Director Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal has launched a public awareness campaign called ‘Beat the Heat,’ aimed at informing the general public, patients, and visitors about measures to protect themselves from extreme heat. The campaign’s tagline is — “Heat will go away, we will win.” This campaign has been specially initiated with a focus on protecting vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and people with pre-existing illnesses.

As part of the campaign, informative posters and digital displays have been installed across the hospital campus, providing various important tips that can help prevent heat-related illnesses. These suggestions include increasing fluid intake and being alert to symptoms of heatstroke, avoiding exposure to direct sunlight and crowded places, eating fresh and nutritious food, drinking clean water, staying in shaded areas, and seeking immediate medical assistance if any signs of heatstroke appear.

Regarding the campaign, Prof. Ajay Singh said, “Given the rising temperatures, it is essential for everyone to take necessary precautions. Through this campaign, our goal is to make people understand that by adopting some simple measures, we can avoid serious health complications. AIIMS Bhopal is continuously committed to safeguarding public health.” This campaign reflects AIIMS Bhopal’s dedication to increasing health awareness and keeping citizens safe during seasonal challenges.
