CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal has launched a comprehensive three-day training program on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA), this course aims to enhance emergency medical response capabilities in the region. The program is being coordinated by Rajnish Joshi, Saurabh Saigal, and Bhupeshwari Patel.

The course will be conducted under the expert supervision of AHA Course Coordinators Shehtaj Khan and Shruti Dubey. Additionally, Rajkumar Elanjeren, Regional Faculty and Course Director for South Asia at AHA, along with Shaji Thomas, AHA Training Center Faculty, will be part of the program.

Emphasizing the importance of this training, Professor Singh stated, “Every second counts in medical emergencies. This training program reflects our commitment to emergency medical care and our dedication to serving society. By equipping our healthcare professionals with these internationally recognized skills, we ensure that our citizens receive the highest standard of emergency care when needed.” He congratulated all participants and stressed the significance of practical life-saving measures.

This comprehensive training focuses on developing life-saving skills for both adults and children. It includes high-quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), management of respiratory and cardiac arrest, and effective use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). The program aims to equip professionals with emergency response skills, mastery in recognizing and managing heart attacks and strokes, and fostering effective team communication during critical situations.
