CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Executive Director Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal organized a symposium in the AYUSH department on the occasion of National Ayurveda Day. The event aimed to promote the integration of traditional and modern medical practices.
In his address, Prof. Singh stated, “Ayurveda must adopt the most modern scientific methods to prove its authenticity. Even though AIIMS Bhopal is an allopathic hospital, we are doing positive work in the field of Ayurveda. The team of doctors here is focusing on collaborative programs, understanding the strengths of both systems. Compared to other AIIMS, AIIMS Bhopal has excellent AYUSH facilities, and we are moving forward with a positive outlook towards Ayurveda.”
On this occasion, a painting competition on the theme “Ayurveda and Childhood” was organized for children, where young participants showcased their creativity and understanding of Ayurveda. Prof. Singh awarded the participants to encourage them.
Dr. M.B. Pilevan, Dr. Priyanka, and Dr. Ranjana Pandey delivered special lectures on the therapeutic aspects of Ayurveda during the symposium.
This symposium served as a vital platform for knowledge sharing and promoting a multidisciplinary approach, reflecting AIIMS Bhopal’s commitment to holistic healthcare. The success of this event marks another step in establishing AIIMS Bhopal as a leader in integrated medicine.
