CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Executive Director Dr. Ajay Singh, the Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine at AIIMS Bhopal successfully organized a one-day CME and workshop on Cervical Cytology. The academic program witnessed enthusiastic participation from postgraduate pathology students, faculty members, and experts from across Madhya Pradesh and other institutes in India.
The primary objective of the event was to enhance diagnostic capabilities and provide updates on the latest techniques in cervical cancer screening. Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh was present as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the program. In his address, he stated:
“Cervical cancer is one of the leading cancers among women. Its timely detection and prevention are crucial. Such academic programs equip medical professionals with updated knowledge, enabling them to offer improved healthcare services. AIIMS Bhopal is committed to continued progress in this direction.”
