The event was a delightful experience for the children, their families, and hospital staff, filled with moments of happiness and togetherness.
Director Singh extended Children’s Day wishes to all the children, wished them a speedy recovery, and reiterated the hospital’s commitment to their well-being. He remarked, “Children are the heart of our society, and their happiness and health are our top priorities. Today’s celebration reminds us that, beyond providing medical care, we are here to bring joy, comfort, and support to children. Dr. Shikha Malik, Head of the Pediatrics Department, warmly welcomed the children and their families, wished them a quick recovery, and shared in the festivities. The event began with a painting competition where children showcased their creativity and imagination.
Following this, resident doctors organized games in the play area, filling the children with smiles and laughter. A cake-cutting ceremony followed, and the children enjoyed music and dance. In a touching gesture, resident doctors prepared handmade cards for each child, making the day even more memorable. The celebration concluded with a unique activity where children and faculty members placed colorful handprints on a large chart, symbolizing unity and joy.
