CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal Executive Director Ajay Singh participated as the Chief Guest at the 10th World Congress on Chronomedicine held in Ayodhya. The conference brought together experts from around the globe to discuss chronomedicine—a science that studies the interaction between biological rhythms and medications—as a revolutionary tool in healthcare.

In his inaugural address, Director Singh highlighted the potential of chronomedicine in making healthcare services more efficient and effective. He proposed its inclusion in India’s Universal Vaccination Program to synchronize vaccine delivery with biological rhythms. Singh emphasized the integration of chronomedicine in administering immunomodulators for chronic diseases and cancer treatment.

Director Singh also suggested combining chronomedicine with artificial intelligence (AI) to facilitate preventive healthcare and early diagnosis of diseases. Furthermore, he stressed its role in enhancing the efficiency of major national health initiatives such as the Prime Minister’s “TB Mukt Bharat” (TB-Free India) and “Anemia Mukt Bharat” (Anemia-Free India). He explained that interventions based on biological rhythms could significantly improve the outcomes of these programs.

Acknowledging the importance of emerging fields, Singh praised the 10th World Congress on Chronomedicine for focusing on this interdisciplinary area, which bridges biology, medicine, and technology.
