CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the leadership of Executive Director Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal organized a street play “Aaina” as part of the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ program by the Nursing Department to raise awareness about cleanliness and hygiene. The objective of the play was to spread awareness about cleanliness through entertainment. On this occasion, Professor Ajay Singh emphasized the societal responsibility toward cleanliness, stating that it is the duty of every citizen, and collective efforts are necessary to maintain it.
Through this street play, the importance of cleanliness, environmental protection, and the harmful effects of plastic were highlighted. Additionally, waste identification, segregation, and cleanliness campaigns were conducted at various locations within the AIIMS campus by the sanitation and hygiene department. This initiative is a significant step toward maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
The event was graced by special guest P. Jagan, Regional Director of the Central Pollution Control Board, who praised AIIMS Bhopal’s efforts and appreciated the performance by the nursing officers. Faculty members, resident doctors, students, and other staff of AIIMS Bhopal also participated and contributed to the success of the play.
